We designed this small family inn as a series of carefully planned spaces, offering an especially comfortable ambience decorated in warm, relaxing colours. There are twelve rooms ranging from an inviting single to large Junior Suites. One of them for a very romantic stay, the other perfect for family occupancy. Each unit has been given its own individual and different character, each designed to satisfy every requirement of space, comfort and style. The hotel is located in the woods of the Val Fiorentina, within short walking distance of Selva di Cadore’s town-centre, and of the network of ski slopes in the Civetta area (using the Pescul cable lift). All this at the foot of Monte Pelmo, where nature remains intact. It is a perfect starting point for walks and hikes into the heart of the Dolomites, within easy reach of the nearby Cortina D’Ampezzo.

The hotel garni Ongaro is situated at the centre of a small mountain village at an altitude of 1420 metres. The whole year round it is exposed to the sun, surrounded by a large lawn and beautiful woodlands behind it, where one can go for long summer strolls and fully immerse oneself in nature. In winter the ski slopes for beginners can be easily reached on foot, and a smalI van hired by us and free of charge for our costumers will bring you in just a few minutes to the Civetta ski resort, which is surrounded by some of the most beautiful mountains in the Dolomites, such as the Marmolada, Civetta and Pelmo, to just mention a few ofthem. This territory is part ofthe "DOLOMITI SUPER SKI" circuit, on which you will be able to visit the slopes of Cortina and Tofana, which each year host the world ski championship.
